Vitruvius

This is my character Vitruvius with me attempting a new style.
As Vitruvius was being born his world was claimed by the darkness and so he became a deformed winged creature. He washed up in the flow of darkness in another world where an old woman who heard him crying took him in. He grew to his early teens kept away from the outside world but one day the darkness attacked and he found that he had the ability to control it. After it killed the old woman who had raised him he went after revenge attempting to destroy the world that took her away from him.
Vitruvius doesn’t work for the darkness but instead uses it for his own ends. He finds joy in manipulating others into doing what he wants them to.
When he reached Sera’s world he discovered the joys of humanities vices such as smoking and drinking though there was something he craved more than ever and that was the joys of the flesh. Vitruvius attempted to destroy Mitchell’s group in order to stop them from destroying the darkness in that world but then he met Sera. She was infatuated with Mitchell so he wanted to break that link by destroying her motivation and hope.
When he succeeded in trapping Mitchell in the dark world he thought he had won but the world was reconstructed. He went to see Mitchell and convinced him to go see Sera knowing that she wouldn’t remember him and then he convinced him to leave that world.
Vitruvius stayed for a while but grew weary and when he tried to leave he found he couldn’t as the world had closed him in. In order to escape he knew he would have to get Sera to open up the gateway of darkness again and so he told her lies in order to get her to leave.
